Microsoft has announced that it is re-opening the Xbox.com Community Developer Program (XCDP). This program allows developers to take feeds from Xbox.com and create unique applications and websites to show off what has been achieved while playing games on the Xbox 360.

Xbox's Community games program, which allows you to pay for, and download games on Xbox Live seems like a great way to support independent developers who get 70% of revenue from the sale of the game. However, Microsoft has implemented restrictive DRM which will block you from playing the game unless you are connected to the internet and Xbox Live.

Best Parts are the services and software. Having all the consoles, and being a gamer since the advent of online, Xbox Live is far above anything else available right now. Setting standards and making it as streamlined as it is, as really benefited the software. But on top of this, look at the success of the Xbox Community Developers Program!
